Go green without sacrificing taste thanks to Cuisinart’s GreenGourmet cookware set. The set consists of a skillet, a covered fry pan, a covered small sauce pan, a covered large sauce pan, a covered everyday pan, a covered dutch oven, and a steamer insert. Containing all the basic kitchen essentials, the set is made of anodized hard aluminum and uses a ceramic-based, eco-friendly nonstick coating. The handles are made of 70% recycled steel, while the packaging is made of recycled materials and printed using soy-based inks. Because the set is hard anodized, heat is diffused evenly, eliminating hot spots and improving flavor. Oven safe to 500 degrees F, each piece is PTFE/PFOA and petroleum free.

  1. Everything sticks in these pans Everything sticks when using the frying pans. I would have returned the set but the window of time closed. My husband had bladder cancer and prostate cancer surgery that we had to leave home and travel to. Once we got back and I started using them I was shocked. I warmed a corn tortillas in a little oil and it stuck to the pan. Then when the pan was cooled the oil had cooked onto the pan. It looks horrible. So the small pan is toast. The other pan that came in the set is just as bad. I was…

  2. Disappointed I’ve had this pan for a little less than 3 years now and I’ve been pretty disappointed. On the positive side, it’s sturdy. However, it did not remain nonstick for long at all. Pretty soon, nearly everything was sticking in some fashion. And clean-up was a chore. Each ridge has to be washed and scrubbed independently in order to make sure food residue was removed.
