  1. Sputters liquid on counter at high simmer covered. I just acquired the 2.3-quart slow cooker and I can’t cook on the high setting except to start as it sputters water all around it on the counter. It has settings #1 through #4. There is a pot roast recipe in the booklet they says you can cook it on setting #4 for 3 hours but I was unable to do that because of the spraying of water. I did turn it down to setting #2.5 but that required more time than I had planned to cook. There is no liquid in this recipe so the liquid must come from the…
