  1. Wearable timer – Clip on your clothes and it goes where you go! I have been looking for a timer loud enough to use at my bakery when servers heat up products in the oven for customers. It is a very busy place, so the noise level gets a bit high oftentimes. I have tried no less than ten different models to no avail, all failing the loudness test. This one certainly does the job.   2. I bought my first one a full two years ago and it has cut way down on the number of times I burn food. I clip it to my clothes and can wear it around while I get stuff done and don’t worry that I won’t hear it if I step out to the mail-box and get to chatting with a neighbor (yes, that still happens!).   3. This unit is, as advertised, extra loud. I can hear from just about any room in our home, which is why I bought it. One little tip: there is a small slide switch on the right side of the unit that must be slid down before the unit will work. This switch isn’t mentioned in the instructions and my 66 year old eyes completely overlooked it when trying to power the unit up.
