  1. Don’t buy this pot! I bought this pot based on the 5-star reviews. What a mistake! Either the pot I received was uniquely defective, or Tramontina uses the poorest quality stainless steel I have ever encountered. When my pot arrived, I washed it well with warm soapy water, rubbing the inside well with a sponge. Then I cooked pasta in it. I thought the pasta water seemed a little bit grey, so I washed the pot well again. Next I tried making medicinal barley water in the pot. I needed to cook it for…

  2. I don’t recommend these pans I was excited to get these and they are very pretty. But they don’t work worth a damn. I have a hotel restaurant degree and worked in commercial kitchens in my career and I love to cook. Not in these things though. Food sticks like mad. I have a set of Belgique all stainless I bought 30 years ago, never a…

I have always liked the quality and price of the Tramontina brand, so it is my go-to brand. I often make a huge batch of chili or soup at home to feed a big crowd at the family cabin which is a 4 hour car trip away, so in addition to needing to be of high quality, fitting into my cooler is a requirement.Amazon sells 2 different 12 quart Tramontina…
