I had it for several years before I decided to invest in a new set however the new set I bought was after all the Paula Deen debacle and I noticed that the quality of the pans were not the same. Several of the pieces have blackened and will not come clean no matter how much I scrub or try to clean them, a couple have warped and handle on one even cracked.   2. Great and Cute I remember reading reviews that the purple coating was coming off of pots and pans. Odd, since I’ve put mine through hell and back since I bought them five months ago and they’ve held up well. This is my first “adult” cookware set. I had a cheap ceramic knock-off set before that cost about the price of a manicure at a mall, lasted just about as long too. I’ve only had them for a week, so they haven’t had heavy use but my mom had the blue speckled set that she’s had for years and they are just now starting to show wear for her.
