  2. Great for searing and for inside the oven I like it but I keep thinking that the Calphalon quality is not the same as it was 10+ years ago. I have old Calphalon pots and their glass lids seem more sturdy and tight-fitting. I also noticed that the handles get pretty hot very quickly, so be careful when touching them when the pot is hot! Otherwise I love that it’s shallow enough to be put in the oven with no trouble. Good also for searing meats. If I could afford it I would buy the All-Clad brand ones (I would NEVER buy non-stick no…
